Hello All,
Spring has been over for a few weeks now and I'm well into summer classes. The MCAT studying is pretty manageable in the and at times oddly rewarding. Also, my clinical days at Bayanihan officially begin in August, so I'm pretty excited. I was able to attend an amazing neuroscience conference called the "Taylor McAdam Bell Institute's Annual Neuroscience Conference" at Washington Hospital. I'll make a separate post of that experience, as I'm still working to catch up on my spring blog experiences (still have tons of clinical interactions to talk about during my Dr. Kunwar rotation days). Lastly, I was recently interviewed for a research position at a world-renowned brain tumor and regenerative disease laboratory at UCSF....I ENDED UP GETTING THE JOB!!!; it starts it fall. I'm ridiculously excited. I have tons to talk about!

- I'm currently attending U.C. Davis as an undergraduate senior. My major is Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. Someday, I hope to become a doctor for the sake of serving the underprivilaged, and pursuing my passion of neurosurgery. My future plans include, teaching at a university hospital, the development of neuro-oncological procedures, and involving myself in global health specifically in the distribution of surgical services.
